Nestled within the Hafren Forest and the Cambrian Mountains, in the shadow of the peaks of Pumlumon and near the friendly market town of Llanidloes, Cwmbiga is conveniently located for the boating and fishing on Llyn Clywedog Reservoir and is close to three national walking trails: the Severn Way, Wye Valley Walk and Glyndwr's Way. The source of the Severn is only 4 miles from Cwmbiga.
We are located on Lon Las Cymru (National Cycle Route 8) and the coastal towns of Aberystwyth and Aberdovey are nearby, as is Machynlleth: the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park.
Cwmbiga appears on Sheet 136 of the 1:50,000 Ordnance Survey 'Landranger' series, at SN860892. Its full 6 figure grid reference is 285930, 289134.
You can access a more detailed (Ordnance Survey type) map of the area immediately around the farm here.
If travelling to Cwmbiga by car, do not rely on entering the postcode into a Satnav, as this will take you to a farm several miles from us.
